Mountain Pepper is the dried and ground leaf of a rainforest under-story shrub. Not as hot as Pepperberries and without the fruity notes it adds beautifully to breads, stuffing, batter, dusting powders goes wonderfully with lamb or game meats.
A complex heat with long lingering notes on the left side of your palate. Best where a subtle and complex heat is required.
Use in casseroles, seasonings and meat rubs.
